peaceful and still

When I was studying light in high school, I learned that in history, Lao Niu and Lao Hu fought back and forth about what light is. Later, there was the theory of wave particles, quantum mechanics, and modern physics.

During that time, I suddenly had an essential doubt about what I saw myself. It turns out that the color I see is not the color of the object itself, but because there is light shining on it, which excites energy and generates light waves.

So, if I can't believe what I see with my own eyes, what can I believe?

When I first started watching the film, I was looking for answers, wondering what the director wanted to do with those fanatical young people and stupid vase models, until Thomas inexplicably desperately grabbed the guitar at the noisy concert and fled to the shop window, I picked it up and looked at it. I didn't know why, so I threw it away. I was finally resonated, it turned out.

How many times, what I see is false, what we feel is false, what we pursue is false. . . .

A passerby walked by, picked up the short guitar arm curiously, and immediately decided that it was worthless and threw it away. This episode is too strong, and we are pursuing a whole life of worthless people.

Then I feel really grateful to these great masters, whether they are scientists or directors, who try to understand the world a little bit more from different angles and use their passion and wisdom.

Ironically, the first time Thomas introduced the group of photos to his friends, he said: it's peaceful, en, still.
