"Ambush from Eight Sides": a double torture of mind and body

An FBI FBI training mission for freshmen takes seven young agents to an isolated island with a simulated town to find a virtual killer. When everyone started to work in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, after an agent touched the button of the toy alarm clock, he was instantly frozen by the sprayed refrigerated gas and shattered to pieces. It was only then that everyone understood that this was not just a training mission but a life-and-death decision, and the real killing game came to the fore.

The murderer may be hiding in the dark all the time to monitor them, or it may be one of them. Not only will they understand the weaknesses and quirks of each of them, but they will also use these "characteristics" to kill them. To decipher who the next victim is and how to be killed, you can only understand the surrounding situation and your own weaknesses as soon as possible within a limited time. Otherwise, when the clock reaches the next tick, the massacre will take effect immediately.

Amid the chaos, quarrels and mutual doubts, everyone began an urgent and difficult deciphering. When everyone fell one by one, the tension at stake was also tightened, and the last survivors were getting closer and closer to the truth. Perhaps the most suspect is the most trustworthy, and the most trustworthy is the real murderer. Who is the enemy and me, only at the last moment will the truth be revealed to the world.

This is an entertaining movie that is extremely entertaining but not worth scrutinizing. The director added a lot of plausible excuses in order to play a great interest, and too many excuses are the root of the loopholes. People who are afraid of water can fight the enemy in the water, and still can't get out of it for a long time; wearing bulletproof vests and not being killed by the first time, but easily killed by the second time... If you If you like picking mistakes as fun, there are still many loopholes that can be carefully looked for, and I prefer the suspenseful and thrilling process. In this way, this film can also be regarded as a film that allows the audience to get what they want.

Mindhunters quotes

  • Bobby: [analyzing Girl at Bar] Good evening, my fine young FBI friends. I am a pretty little thing just out of lit class at GMU. Please note the Jimmy Joyce in my Kate Spade. My parents are loaded as per my expensive ensemble and that "J", where is it, on my key ring, means I'm either a "Jill" or a "Jennifer". Those being the favorite "J" names of beltway parents circa 1981. I like to hang with my girlfriends and have a good time but I'm really just a mature woman looking for a mature man.

  • J.D.: The lovely Nicole and her personal demons. I'm surprised there's enough room at the table for all of us.
