In "Dream of Giants", when Sophie stood on the windowsill on the second floor and saw the giant, what flashed in my mind were memories of my childhood.
I was a little kid in the past few years, and the Spring Festival was when the whole family returned to the country’s grandmother’s hometown to celebrate the New Year. The people in the village of my hometown have the surname Ding, and there is a "Ding Gong Temple" at the far end of the village. It is dedicated to the ancestor of our village, the "Master Ding family." Passing by my home. Then there is such an incident in my childhood memory. At that time, I kept keeping until 10 o'clock and couldn't hold on to sleep. My parents took me back to the room on the second floor to sleep. It was always dark in the country at night, and I was too young to walk around alone. But that time I woke up in the middle of the night without knowing why, and when I heard the lively firecrackers outside, I walked out the door. I was standing in the corridor on the second floor, and I saw Master Ding, who was taller than the second floor, standing in the ping. The lights around him were brightly lit, and the night air was like golden flames.
I was still thinking about my childhood on the way home after watching the movie. I have thought about it many times and I always felt that I couldn't stand the scrutiny. Why did I just woke up and stood in the hallway and saw it that day? If my family picked up the "Master Ding", at least my father would get up and wait. And after that night, I never mentioned this to the adults again. I just look forward to seeing the tall and huge "Master Ding" again every New Year's Eve every year thereafter. So is this memory just a dream from childhood? Things that are old can never withstand inquiries. Just like when I was a child, I clearly remembered that there was a three-color rainbow broken in the yard of my grandmother’s house, and I clearly remembered that my mother and I were catching small fish in the stream under the bamboo forest. I had to open a broken bowl and said there were fish in it. There are really two colorful flat fish inside, which is really surprised. It's just that the former has no witnesses except me, while the latter was done with my mother and has been certified for a long time. Those beautiful dream-like moments in childhood, when I recalled them when I was in my twenties, I couldn't convince myself that they were not in a dream.
After seeing the second half of the movie, I guess this movie is a sweet dream of Sophie, her golden dream caught by the kind-eyed giant. Because when the kind-hearted giant took Sophie to see a little boy’s dream, the little boy dreamed that he and the President of the United States had been chatting for a long time, and his parents were shocked, so why couldn’t Sophie dream of her and the Queen of England We talked for a long time. Sophie told the kind-eyed giant in her dream that she never dreamed, so the nightmare was even more terrifying. I think for the same reason, her dreams will be even more wonderful.
There is one more thing I care about most: Sophie finally brought the kind-eyed giant to the palace to see the Queen of England. The queen entertained them for breakfast. When toasting, Sophie said "I believe in kind-eyed giant", and the slightly abrupt words seemed to be The strengthening of consciousness in dreams. Why do you say that? Because I remembered a dream I had in high school. I just walked towards dawn and sunrise on the road, repeatedly shouting "We believe there are elves." Look When I was in the movie, I suddenly realized why I kept yelling this sentence in that dream.
As for the bugs mentioned in other comments, such as the kind-hearted giant surrendering to the queen, the kind-hearted conspiracy against his nine giant companions, etc., I just want to say that I believe these in the movie are based on Sophie’s thoughts in her dream are the premise. Sophie thought in her dream that this development of the story is best for the kind giants, so that’s it, so don’t think too much. And isn't our dreams like this: wonderful and thrilling, there is always sorrow that lurks, but it can always be a breeze. Although I felt that there was no logic in my dream after waking up, I felt very reasonable in my dream. Just as the final outcome is that nine giants were thrown onto an isolated island to grow bitter gourds. It stands to reason that with the power of the giant's feet, you can return to the original place in a few strokes, but this is the end of Sophie’s dream. She is dreaming. Think this is the perfect ending. This also makes sense, because we always wake up when the dream is about to make up, isn't it like this, haha.

In short, as a person who often wakes up and remembers the content of dreams and who often deliberately rushes to dreams, I want to give this movie a score of 101.
