It's a shame that I'm still someone who has read "The General History of the World".
Then, I re-read the national version of the "General History", but it was full of doctrines, movements, uprisings, and wars, but I couldn't find the name of Victoria's uncle, let alone her husband. .
Then I could only go to Baidu Encyclopedia to find out a series of names such as George III IV, William IV, and so on.
Then I had a question about the British royal succession system, why a girl was passed on to the throne, and then I found the "Royal Succession Act" of 1701.
When I looked up "Queen Victoria", I finally knew that the Empire on the Sun was in her time, and many places around the world are named after her.
More interestingly, she intermarryed her children to various royal families in Europe, and she was actually known as the "Mother of Europe". What is also interesting is that it was her grandson, the German Emperor Wilhelm II, who led the army to attack Britain and provoked the First World War.
Even more surprising, she once gave a speech for China, which directly contributed to the first Opium War.
History is really not those books. The person who wrote the book or stood in his own position, inevitably missed it. What's more, to write history is to serve some people, or to fool the people, deliberately out of context and making up random things.
When looking at history, we should approach the truth from a different perspective.
