not a film major, I don't understand movies, I'm just an ordinary movie audience, so I can't see those elegant plot arrangements and shooting techniques, and I can't write those majors movie review. But from the perspective of an ordinary audience who doesn't understand photography skills, I think this is a film worth watching, because in addition to the gorgeous visual feast, it is also really moved by the true feelings.
Two people who are unwilling to be enslaved and go against their conscience come together because of pure love. Before watching the film, I thought that Victoria was an iron-fisted monarch with talent, intelligence and extraordinary ability. In fact, her greater success was because she married a capable and intelligent man who truly loved her - Prince Ali Potter. During their years in power together, they made important contributions to the social, welfare and industrial development of the UK, as well as cultural and artistic achievements - the World Expo began with Prince Albert. However, what is more depicted in the film is a happy, harmonious and tacit life after their marriage. They have 9 children together - a very big family. And the film doesn't shy away from Victoria's naivety and inexperience as a young queen.
Especially the scene where the prince blocked the gun for the queen, made people move to tears. What kind of force can make a person willing to die for you? instinct? At that moment, there is no calculation of what to do, just like Wendi Deng jumping up to strike back at the man who attacked her husband at the hearing. This is love, love you until the last moment of my life.
One, you are irreplaceable, and I am replaceable.
Two, you are my only wife, I love you and protect you until the last moment of my life.
