where the sea stops

Most of the main creative staff in "Fish Tank" from director to starring are mostly women, but it is not so much a female film as it is a growth film.
The icy heavy machinery slowly passed by Mia, with a gruff style in this unnamed town of British heavy industry, with angry people swearing at each other, and so did she, who was constantly having sex with everyone around her. Conflict: She walked into the campus and watched a group of teenage girls dancing, and then a girl approached provocatively, and Mia scolded back rudely; she came to the decaying yard with an old horse and tried to The old horse let go, and several half-eldest boys surrounded her to abuse her, and she managed to escape; she returned to the home of her single mother and sister, who were equally angrily scolding her. This is how the life of the girl Mia unfolds before us.
Mia's state can't tell whether she is lonely or lonely, the world doesn't care about her, her only hobby is dancing on the terrace where no one is there. This is her world, stiff limbs, dancing without any expression, she can only express her emotions in this way, and use this to fight against the world.
The woman, Mia's mother, happily preparing for the party, told the eldest daughter not to leave the house, while the youngest daughter and her little friend smoked cigarettes with heavy makeup. Mia sneaked out of the room, and the adults used alcohol hormones to stimulate each other's physical closeness. Mia's mother was once again caught up in the entanglement of men, and the reason for her seriousness was that she was satisfied with the sex in bed.
The man said to go out to play, the woman would take her little daughter, and Mia said angrily that she would also follow. They went to a fish pond to catch fish. The man teased and said that Mia did not dare to go into the water to catch fish. Mia's foot was injured. The man carefully arranged and bandaged her, and his hand gently touched her ankle. He encouraged her to pursue her dreams and to dance. He treated her like a daughter, like a lover. Mia is in love. She gave her mother's man a young body. For men, it was just a drinking thing, but it was the whole life of the girl Mia. Mia and her boyfriend are leaving this place, waiting for the same unknown tomorrow.
The world of adults is indifferent, and they tear each other apart like monsters, and bring such tearing scars to the weaker children. The coquettish and alcoholic single mother, the rude sister, and the struggling adolescent Mia seem destined to be a family that cannot be reconciled or peaceful. At the end of the film, after the mother and daughter danced together, the younger sister took Mia to the car with the dog, hugged Mia and said she hated her. In the seemingly reconciled moment, the same blood kinship could not be expressed, let alone Will express, I have to say, they are so sad.
Compared with Mia, I am more willing to explore the woman "mother". What was her past like? What is her current working condition? What kind of man have you met? In what state did she become a mother? Why is she addicted to alcohol? Everything is unknown, maybe it is similar to the stories of those ignorant girls, or it may be that Mia's tomorrow is this woman's yesterday: leaving the place of birth with a man, thinking that what unfolds in front of you is a new beginning, but in fact, A new life is always a continuation of an old one.
Stateless is the state of the film. A state of pure living, family, love and friendship are all lost in this film, men no longer have responsibility, women no longer have tenderness, and children can only be sacrifices.
Where the sea stopped, the flesh still struggled.
