Santiago, a poor boy from Mexico, is busy working for others every day in Los Angeles. The happiest day is when his little friends play football games together on weekends. This character is very much like a lot of people around us. Occasionally, a scout spotted him on vacation, imperfect but full of talent. It is also because of this Bole that this boy's dream of becoming a professional football player has been aroused, and he has worked hard for the final realization.
The film revolves around this young man, and builds a relationship network from three aspects: family, love, and career. The complex character relationships and complex personality emotions drive the protagonist to make choices constantly, and every choice he makes drives every turn, making the character of Santiago real and tense. But the only downside is that the sports scenes in the movie give people a slightly unreal feeling, probably because the actor's sports technical talent is really difficult to reach the level of real athletes.
