Mixed feelings

Worried about

going to watch The Chaser, I told Miss Apple that I must have angina after watching a Korean movie. Most of the Korean films I have come into contact with are tragedies and struggles against society and reality. Every time the movie ends, I feel like my internal organs are twisted into a ball and I can't breathe easily.

It is also a critique of distorted social ethics. Koreans like to live life, and the Japanese like to be extreme - a mermaid with battle royale and sewers as a representative. But Japanese movies also like to take the romantic, warm and sad route, but Korean movies like to show people's indifference, pedantic, and dark hearts to the extreme in the most ordinary life. After people watch it, they truly experience the taste of 'desperation'.

Sure enough, after the movie, Miss Apple said to me, "My stomach hurts from watching it."

Joy

was extremely excited while watching this movie. I was mentally prepared for depression. But from the beginning to the end of the film, in addition to the depression, I have experienced basically what kind of mood I feel. Is this a morality film, a thriller suspense film, or a helpless dark humorous tragedy?

The film does not procrastinate from beginning to end, and the plot is compact and coherent. It is often too late to be afraid, and the next second of the plot makes people laugh. The helpless sigh in the tense mood, and then sublimated to anger.

The heyday of Korean films was also the beginning of the rapid development of Asian films.

The character's explanation to the main characters

of the film is expressed in the form of dialogue. So that we have a certain understanding of each person's background, but it is not comprehensive. So why did Chung-ho turn from a policeman to a pimp, why did Mi-jin play the role of a single mother and a prostitute, and why did Ji Young-min's personality distorted, leaving a lot of reverie.

By the end of the movie, Mi-jin and Young-min don't have to be too much of a concern, and I understand that in this environment, there's not much difference between a cop and a pimp.

The weakness and insignificance of human beings, under the corrupt social system, rather than chasing and condemning, it is better to pour some feces to relieve qi!

With a captivating script and top-notch actors, you won't even notice any stylization in the movie, but if it wasn't for director Luo Hongzhen, how could such a good movie with mixed flavors be produced? Five stars.

It's really good that the debut work can be done like this, but there are actually many problems with the sense of rhythm. This kind of film in South Korea has become more and more mature in the past few years. The best thing about this movie is the soundtrack. Let's wait and see Mr. Luo's new film.

[B+] Luo Hongzhen's feature-length feature film is quite complete as a debut, but at the same time it is quite irritating. If the despair of "Memories of Murder" is lingering and melancholy, then the despair of "The Chaser" is as violent and violent as a bloody hammer. Under the skin of various deliberate anti-types, it is still Hitchcock's MacGuffin narrative skills. Of course, despite all the logical flaws of the script, Luo Hongzhen's audiovisual awareness is still dazzling, especially when the little girl is sitting in the car crying, the sound effects of the rain sound and the design of multi-angle camera editing are all well delivered. Finally, as a debut work, the ending of this film is still too twisted, and the next "Yellow Sea" has really faded away this green feeling, and it is the real master of Luo Hongzhen.
