The theme of the film seems to be very advanced, but it is actually nothing new. An excellent CIA agent, Billy Pope, had a one-line connection with the Dutch, who had a remote-controlled missile system. Unfortunately, he was killed shortly after his appearance. His memories were transplanted into Jericho Stewart, an extremely dangerous and unpredictable criminal, a lawless fellow not an obedient master. He quickly got rid of the CIA's control, but Billy's remaining memories and emotions subtly changed Jericho, and Billy's family gradually accepted Jericho. But the shadow of the criminal organization is looming, and the CIA and Russian agents have not given up their pursuit of the Dutch. In the end, Jericho, who was influenced by love and justice, completed his own redemption.
Do these bridges feel familiar? Many Hollywood movies have used these ideas. The redemption of a prodigal son, the awakening of a scumbag... The routines are not new, just look at the actions and special effects. But apart from showing Jericho's tyranny and indiscriminate killing of innocents, there are really very few action scenes. The fight at the University of London at the end is really simple, and then driving the ambulance and letting the police car hit the truck is the biggest scene in the film. In the end, the missile hit its own plane, what is this? Kind of insulting the intelligence of the audience.
The tones are very comfortable, the atmosphere is well rendered, and the actors are very dedicated and old actors. The protagonist is too old, so the action scenes really can't be filmed. If you look at the stars, it is still worth watching.
