Very warm movie, confessing to Grandpa Ian. In fact, this is not a Sherlock Holmes movie, but the journey of an old Sherlock Holmes in search of memories and redemption. Ann's death made Holmes realize that human nature cannot be reasoned with logic, and because he failed to save Ann's life, Holmes chose to go into hiding, as he said, maybe leaving his beloved detective career, he would not hurt him again other people. But even if time can heal everything, even if the memory is blurred, the heavy feeling of guilt and guilt is still with you, forcing Holmes to try his best to stimulate the memory and get back the way things were. In the process of searching for his memory, he met Rodger, a very smart and lovely child. Rodger has a talent for detectives. He can always grasp the key to the problem and help Sherlock Holmes recall the past. Rodger's quarrel with his mother, which broke her heart, had Holmes recalling bits and pieces of Ann's case in the middle of the night, writing everything down, and coming to dawn with a sense of relief. But the next day Rodger was stung by a wasp for helping himself take care of the bees. Rodger's mother yelled at Holmes that he only cared about the bees. The old Holmes cried and knelt on the ground because of guilt and distress. , the most real Sherlock Holmes at that moment, the Sherlock Holmes who yearned for redemption made me really distressed. In the end, they found the real cause of Rodger's injury, and the doctor cured Rodger. Sherlock Holmes had indirectly killed Ann, but this time he saved Rodger and got redemption. At the hospital, Holmes confided in Rodger's mother and begged her to stay. The pleas of the lonely and lonely Sherlock Holmes at the end of his life struck me too much. Everyone is so lonely. The people you meet in the practice of life must say goodbye to you in the end. In the end, only you will be left on this road, but how much I hope that the people I meet can stay with me for a while, even if Just one more second. Rodger's mother finally agreed. At the end of the film, Holmes used the ritual he saw in Japan to say hello and goodbye to those important people in his life. The lonely Holmes finally had peace, warmth and company even at the end.

3.5 stars. The interweaving of the three lines makes the focus of the whole film poor, but the grandfather's words and interpretation of Holmes, the late hero, finally shake hands with the surroundings of his past self are really teary. The circle on the notebook, the bee box in the backyard, the old photos and the white gloves all blend in a rich Scottish style. I don’t know if anyone feels that the most hurt part is that he said that Watson had never understood me for so many years, and tears fell when I saw this.

No matter how amazing the characters are, they can't escape the fate and natural laws of aging. Old Sherlock Holmes is still wise but his memory is no longer clear. Those scattered fragments are pieced together little by little in a lonely mood, and finally they belong to their respective places. There is no ups and downs in the plot, only a weak but still firm figure of an old man. Sir Ian's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in Memories is so touching.
