"The Thirteen Assassins" of the advanced version of "October Siege"

I started to search for the Japanese version of 12 Angry Men, but I didn't expect to see such a good film by mistake. The opening scene was a suicide shot, which reminded me of "Grave of the Fireflies". Although it used a relatively familiar symmetrical picture, I always felt that it could be more atmospheric, and the scenery could be placed with a sense of ceremony. The white bar or the entire shot is wider, which can highlight the insignificance of the characters in the larger environment. I don't know if it was the influence of Japanese horror movies. The abused maid has Sadako's immediate sense of sight. If the eyes want to express extreme fear and pain, they should be able to use another way, not necessarily like a ghost. My favorite small town to block is the scene where the barbarian sword is inserted on the ground. I love this scene, the burning wooden house, the samurai swords everywhere, the samurai with the swords, with the setting of the two enemies, the only feeling that there is no blood splashing, it will be better if the effect is added. In general, it is a bit like "October Siege", but it is definitely an advanced high-end version.

Haven't seen the original so can't compare. As far as the new version is concerned, half and half of the civil and military dramas. Literary operas explain the ins and outs, strategizing and fighting wits; martial arts fights are fierce and bloody fog is flying. If you like Japanese martial arts, it is still worth seeing!

It is similar in nature to "October Siege", but instead of selling sensationalism like "October Siege", it shows the entire massacre calmly. The movie is actually trying to satirize the so-called ignorance of the samurai.
