justice, hope we always uphold it

After watching this drama off and on, I still feel a little dissatisfied:

First of all, the second-in-command of the TV station is too idealistic. Although he is also selfish, he is too supportive of Bradley, but he is quite satisfied with the setting that they did not sleep. There are also some plots that show the heroine's color too much and are too deliberate. Was Hannah's death too sudden? Although it involves her self-identification, the American sex culture is so open that it doesn't feel like having sex with her boss is like being raped. And she can take advantage of this promotion to swallow her anger, and she also benefits from it, so she won't be so excited all of a sudden. The people in the show are a little too righteous, aren't American dramas very good at making dark stories, and now everyone is so righteous and kind.

But here are a few things that touched me:

1. Although Alex has been very successful, he was excited to try his best to win his status when he heard that he was going to renew his contract. She tried her best to fight against this male-dominated society. The workplace is indeed more male-dominated. They have common interests and common topics, and it is more natural to conspire and facilitate some things.

2. Alex broke out several times. First, he yelled at the management to decide his own partner; second, he yelled at his daughter, fuck you kid, she just wanted to do a good job in her career, but the society and her family wanted her to be a wife. With my mother, if we can't take care of it, it becomes the target of public criticism. It is really difficult for modern women to realize their self-worth. The third is that the new producer was splashed with water in the last episode. That producer was so fake, it was really cool.

3. After Bradley interviewed Hannah, he was very sad. He called his brother and asked him if his justice had hurt many people, including his family. If he didn't report his father for drunk driving, maybe his mother and brother would be better off. I was moved by what my brother said. He said that their father was always driving drunk, and if he didn't report him, he would hurt other innocent people because of his father's drunk driving. Bradley's unhappiness in other people's lives has nothing to do with Bradley. Sister, you are the reason why I want to continue my life. I want to see every scene you perform. I used to be the only one who could see you. Now the whole country can see you uphold justice and bravely do it!

Overall the show is still good. In fact, this workplace culture is also very common in my country, but the United States has cracked down on sexual assault and other behaviors in recent years, so it was filmed a little politically correct. Even I think there are many such things around me. The problem lies in the core of this drama, do you dare to say it, do you dare to do justice. We all know it's not right, maybe things didn't fall on your head, so it's not up to you to hang up. But like Alex, is there no guilt to watch? Can you sleep peacefully? If our conscience is annihilated by indifference, what in the world is worth holding on to?
