Very good prison break movie, Malek's performance is better than the male lead. The film is very real in all aspects, with clear organization and distinct characters, especially when the male protagonist is in solitary confinement, the emptiness and mental torture make people extremely afraid of prison life, and in the end Degas and Bobby who are leaving Saying "I need to stay, for the same reason you have to go", maybe that's what prisons wanted to transform their prisoners into, never leave, work hard and want to stay.

Shawshank is art, and this one is reality. It is more shocking than the former because it is adapted from real events. The power of hope is unimaginable. He is the first person to survive the five-year confinement. The yearning for freedom, the biggest shortcoming in the film is the lack of rendering of this desire, which leads to the lack of the biggest motivation for his constant escape from prison, and the resonance is less, but it is still very good, including the two male protagonists that are moving and even a little crooked. Friendship, I have to say that the role of Papillon is really likable. Also, Charlie Hunnam is so handsome, that figure, that smile, really hit my heart

The 1973 version of "Papillon" was 230 minutes, and in order to speed up the pace, the remake of the 2017 version was 133 minutes. The 2017 version was introduced at the end of this month, and it was confirmed to be deleted for 24 minutes, and it was scheduled to be released on 7.26. The 2017 version has already been cut off, and another half an hour has been subtracted. There is really no need to watch it. I strongly recommend the 230-minute version of "Papillon" in 1973. It is an adaptation of real events. The actual 8 escapes are condensed into three times, which is heavy and long.

Papillon quotes

  • Warden Barrot: I had to come and see this for myself. Few men survive five years in solitary. What were you living for? 'Cause I don't think you're going to find it where you're going. Devils Island.

  • Louis Dega: I know what you're thinking. But even if you survive the fall, you'll never survive the ocean.
