Have a cup of coffee and watch a movie

"Coffee Commune" is a great movie-of course, it depends on your expectations.

If you want to see a wise and sharp masterpiece like "Anne Hall", I am afraid it will be disappointed. But it would be a pleasure to be teased by Old Woody willingly once a year, watching him portray the vanity of Vanity Fair while taunting obsessed men and women.

The film set is the golden age of the 1930s in Hollywood. The actor in the film is still the standard match of Woody Allen, a young man who speaks Jewish. Came to Los Angeles from New York alone to join his uncle, a successful film agent, hoping to create his own career in Los Angeles. Uncle Snobbish assigned him some messengers and sent him to his young secretary to take care of him. The young man and the young secretary got along well, and they visited the mansion in Beverly Hills together, went to a small Mexican restaurant to drink beer and laughed at the same time. Hollywood's glitz and hypocrisy can't help but yearn for it.

In the process of getting along, the young man fell in love with the beautiful little secretary, who did not realize that the little secretary had actually had an extramarital affair with his uncle long ago. After several twists and turns, the little secretary finally chose the latter between the innocent and considerate male protagonist and the successful uncle.

The male protagonist returned to New York sadly and ran a nightclub with his gangster brother and named it Cafe Society. The business was booming and gradually became a top clubhouse where New York celebrities were keen to haunt. He himself has gradually become sleek and cute, knowing how to talk to please girls, knowing how to entertain all kinds of customers, and he has married a variety of wives, became a father, and entered a win-win mode. At this time, the little secretary and uncle, who are already Kotai, came to visit the nightclub with their friends. The male protagonist still stared at the beautiful little secretary intently as before, but his eyes revealed disappointment-she has become what they used to be. Those who laughed at them, wearing expensive jewelry, casually showed off the top parties they had been to, and met celebrities. But what about himself? It's not the high-spirited and innocent boy back then. The dream of the young people they have longed for together: living in Greenwich Village where poets and artists gather, living on the beach and listening to the tide every day, it seems like what happened in the previous life.

The old lovers meet again, not to mention that what they have never got is always the best. They wiped out some sparks and secretly kissed in the morning light of Central Park, watching the city skyline reflecting the morning light in the distance. However, life still has to go on. In the last scene, they celebrated the arrival of the New Year at different parties, each bowing their heads thoughtfully, secretly missing each other.

What you can't get is always the most beautiful. There are too many stories like this and too many to hear. This film lacks the classic summary of the relationship between men and women like "Anne Hall", nor does "Midnight Barcelona" explore the novelty of feelings. But what makes it so beloved is precisely the elements outside the story itself, the high-level photography, and the classic smileys of Woody Allen.

The Twilight Girl was taken beautifully by the soft focus lens, and people can't help but sigh the exquisite features of her features. (But personally feel that her modern look is really inconsistent with the Hollywood temperament of the 1930s...)

Male number one Mark Zuckerberg, ah no, Jesse Eisenberg’s Jewish look, slightly camel back, and guns. The speed of speech and the dull temperament are really a copy of the old man. Woody laughed at the Jewish family and still spared no effort. Those stereotyped Jewish characteristics: wealth, wisdom, tradition, and loyalty to religion have all been hacked by him. There is also the characteristic of being incapable of restraining intellectuals, and being inclined to occupy the highest moral level. The most interesting thing is the black humorous treatment of all the violent behaviors of the gangster brothers, which makes people really laugh and turn around and wonder how they could cheer for such an evil behavior.

I'm still willing to go to see Woody Allen's new movie every year, watch handsome men and beautiful women, gorgeous scenery, and listen to the delicate and bookish jokes of the old man. Life is too heavy, just like the sentence of the brother-in-law of the intellectuals in the movie: Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." But the examined one is no bargain. It is

better to have a cup of coffee and watch a relaxing movie.
