Personally, I think Cube 1 is okay -- I gave it a "OK" rating, even though the director's excitement is orthodox thriller, and the actor's performance isn't great, but it's okay to kill time.
In contrast, "Cube 2" is suspected of selling dog meat with "scientific ideas" on the sheep's head. I don't understand why the photographer always deliberately turns the lens upside down and sideways. In fact, when he does that, the three-dimensional structure of the space is often normal. If it is to express the psychology of the characters and render the atmosphere, it is even more self-defeating- Such a confined space is even more treacherous and terrifying with long shots and acting skills. We all know that Europeans and Americans have poor skin, but the photographer has also worked hard to let the audience see the various spots on the faces and backs of female actors, which affect their appetite. Since you want to play sci-fi, please spend more energy and capital, and the computer special effects produced are really shabby. The actors have no talent for acting at all. The whole film is that the protagonist is trying to sell the concept of such a four-dimensional space to the audience.
Cube 2 is once again the example used to demonstrate that "the sequel will be a clear step backward".
