Equivalent exchange

It took me so many days to finish watching Fullmetal Alchemist while I was very busy.
I was moved many times and cried many times.
A good anime will make you try to squeeze out of the world like a sponge to watch.
I don’t need to go into too many emotions in the middle. Maybe I am a person who pursues results very much, so all I want to talk about is the ending.
In the end, Al used the Sage's Stone to practice Ed, but Ed regained his ability to become Al.
The awakened Al had lost the memory of their travels for the past four years, but finally got his body back.
Yanzi said, this is a better ending.
It's the saddest ending in my opinion.
Because the goal they have been striving for all the time - to get Al's body back, even if it is finally achieved, they will no longer remember what they have gained in the past four years.
One remembers all memories in the other world, and one forgets all memories in this world.
The two brothers were never reunited. All the hard work, in my opinion, did not get any spiritual gain.
What Steelmaking has to say in every episode is that Al's voice says the principle of equivalent exchange.
Just like what I have always believed in, one hard work is one harvest. Even if the ending denies it, I still believe it.

Yu, who walked silently on the edge of the West Lake with his fists clenched, no one knew that he liked him so much that Hot Fuss was playing in his earphones. The bloody years of youth - why I like you instead of something more girly, is it a coincidence? This coincidence also laid the groundwork for the future, which has remained unwavering.

It was adapted into a third-rate ethical drama with no plot logic. Edward became a stupid dick who only flipped the table. Everyone was Ma Jingtao, and I was about to suffocate. The teacher is dying, and the cyborg can suppress it with a pistol, your sister. Also inexplicably engaged in the Terminator, Fujiko Mine (also let Shiraishi Miho to match, completely unknown). Animation adaptations of long-form plots can only have ghosts if they are ecstatic. Same with hellsing's TV version.

Fullmetal Alchemist quotes

  • Colonel Roy Mustang: Don't look so gloomy.

Lieutenant Lisa Hawkeye: Your plan was perfect, but because I didn't make it in time...

Colonel Roy Mustang: There is no such thing as perfection. This world itself is imperfect.

[runs a hand through her hair]

Colonel Roy Mustang: That's what makes it so beautiful.

  • Edward Elric: And why would I do this for you?

Lust: Oh, but we're not asking, Full Metal...

[she picks up the Slicer's helmet and opens it]

Lust: We're telling. Do you know what happens to an attached soul... when you do this?

[she begins to remove the blood seal]

Edward Elric: You can't do that! He's still a human being!

Number 48, Slicer: Older Broher: Edward Elric... I...

[the helmet shatters. Lust drops the pieces and moves to Al's armor. She reaches her nail inside and prepares to remove his seal]

    Lust: This won't take long.

Edward Elric: No! Please don't! He's my little brother! Please don't take him away from me! I'm begging you!

Alphonse Elric: Brother, it's okay. What am I, really?

Barry the Chopper: What if you're a fake? An imitation? How would you know the difference?

Edward Elric: There's this thing see, something I've been meaning to tell you...

Edward Elric: Don't give up on me yet, Al.

[he moves to fix the ceiling so he can make the Philosopher's Stone]
