I heard before that the animation version of steelmaking and comics are not the same story, so I didn't pay much attention to it. I thought that no matter how the story was adapted, the overall framework would still be the same. It wasn't until I watched all the works of the TV version of Fullmetal Alchemist that I was really shocked by this animation. From the first episode, this animation has established a sentimental tone.
