Loved the ending so much, seeing Al and Ed reaching out to the sky at the same time, tears flowed. What makes me uncomfortable is not that the brothers are in two worlds separated by a door, but that the two of them have embarked on a new journey to see each other. The ending of this version is full of uncertainty, both hope and regret. Will Douding and Al meet again? In fact, hints have been given in the play, as long as you keep moving forward, you will definitely gain something. But the ending doesn't matter anymore.
This version of Ed is really too sad, and he is completely pushed to grow up. However, if he hadn't experienced this, it would have taken him longer to know the laws of the adult world and understand that the real world is far more than a relationship of equivalence.
Although many people complained that this version is a bit rushed and full of bugs, it is still perfect in my opinion. Having said that, as Da Zuo said: It is precisely because it is not perfect that it is perfect.
