Broken hearts, not cities

Billy's heart was shattered with Yesenia's death, so the gun in his hand was no longer the protection of the people, but a weapon for murder, which was a convenient way for him to vent his anger. The mayor Horstettler wanted to destroy the city because of greed, and the city became fragmented, after all, because of the fragmented hearts.
Greed, persecution, desire, abuse of power, contempt for life, framed up, hatred, cowardice, powerlessness, and powerlessness. After
all, he has to pay it back. So Billy who killed someone will still accept it even after seven years. The legal sanctions are only because he wants to do something for this city, and only because the broken heart slowly heals. Just like this city, the world is changing, and it will eventually develop in a good direction.
A wound that is fragmented will heal over time.

You don't know that you are doing one thing with enthusiasm, but you have become a tool for others || It is too difficult to have a big picture in politics. Russell Crowe did a great job, and a politician's craftiness was just too good. Like Bruce Willise, Mark has the same expression in movies.

Broken City quotes

  • Mayor Hostetler: You know, women call men dogs. That's to suggest we're somehow untrustworthy or disloyal. But a dog is anything but. And if men are dogs, what the goddamn hell does that make women? You've ever seen a bitch in heat? She will grind herself across the grass to try and get her that itch. And she can find a way to sneak out of the backyard, as any dog will do.

  • Billy Taggart: Doesn't anybody in this town speak in complete fuckin' sentences anymore?
