I believe that Gage's million-dollar proposal would not have worked had Diana and David not been living in a financial crisis. However, when meeting the lowest-level needs such as food, clothing, housing and transportation encounter difficulties, there is no room to talk about belonging and love. It's just that Gage appeared at the right time.
You can say that it was Diana who was actually tempted first, although her first sentence of compromise was "David, i think u want me to do it", you can also say that David is a coward who wears such a conspicuous cuckold and is begging for nothing I wish my wife would come back. But can you tell whose fault it is? Love and dignity, love and money, this is a dilemma. Apart from money, can dignity and love be exchanged for bread? It is understandable to make different choices in different situations. You can disagree with other people's values, but there is no need to point fingers.
Robert Redford's appearance is really a coincidence. A look, a raise of a hand or a gesture are all evidently gentle and elegant. And in the end he gave up Diana in a way that was against his will, that sentence "She would never look at me the way she did to him", Ou. . . Careful is broken. . . . .
Diana's return to David was not the desired outcome. After this series of events, can life return to its former beauty? What's more, every time I see Diana and Mr. Gage together, I will secretly praise, oh yo yo, it's made in heaven~~ The screenwriter's arrangement is so deliberately successful, but the original profoundness has been compromised.
I've always missed the million dollar home. Neither of the two will feel at ease, I mean, even if someone's heart sinks, he will accept it. The script arranges a most happy way to deal with it, which is very reassuring.
