deep soul

This movie is not bad, it was the first gay movie I saw when I was 14 years old. The plot is good, but there are some scenes that I can't accept (I'm only 14 and a girl), such as Neil selling himself and being beaten. The actors are all excellent, 囧 Joseph is amazing in the film, I like it very much. Chase Ellison was 11 at the time, cute, but I prefer the image of him back in 2010 in The Crying Wolf Child. The psychological quality is good, and this kind of movie goes on, which is respectable.
But that's not the point. The two little boys in the movie were so pitiful. At the age of 8, they were abused, leaving them with a lifetime of shadows. Neil becomes a depraved male prostitute who shamelessly sells his body and cannot extricate himself. The other Brian was even more stupid, thinking he was caught by a UFO, and was immersed in his imagination after that. What made them look like that? Is it just that beast coach?
— No, it is not. And the irresponsibility of their mothers. Neil's mother only looks for men, ignoring the education and protection of her son. Brian's mother only had business in his eyes, and Brian's father never cared about his son (the grown-up son growled at the end). Little boys don't understand anything, and they don't know how to solve things when they happen (actually, I know it's hard for older kids, not to mention younger ones). But the most important thing is the distortion of social human nature.
The heroine Wendy and the supporting actor (who takes care of him like Neil's wife) cannot be ignored. They both love Neil and are Neil's best friend, but they don't know how to save the fallen boy (otherwise, in the Halloween scene, Wendy wouldn't stop Neil from kidnapping the big kid and giving him to... ...)
I was shocked after watching this movie and found my three views were ruined at the same time. There was a boy who was expelled from our school and went back to his hometown school. I heard that he was given sex by a man there. I didn't believe it at first, but now I believe it...
So, the movie is not bad, but teenagers, self-awareness The lowly, sb, se wolf - don't look! Beware of ruined views.

  • Eric: I got a postcard from Wendy.

Neil: I think she's mad at me because I owe her like 3 letters.

Eric: Yeah, her last P.S. is "Tell Fuckface to write me."
