Parkour, flying over the walls in concrete high-rise buildings;
gangsters, armed with machine guns and tattoos, hiding in the B13 district and plotting ulterior motives;
police, unknowingly caught in the political game.
The action movie "The Violent Neighborhood", supervised by the famous French director Luc Besson, shocked the audience's nerves again and again in just 90 minutes. This is a very good gangster crime movie. The film fictionalizes a violent neighborhood where criminals and outlaws live—B13 District. The protagonist of the film is thrown into prison because his sister is intercepted by a gang leader. A chance encounter with a police officer on duty. So began a thrilling bomb disposal journey. However, in the end, they found out that it was a conspiracy...
The best thing about the whole film is the action design. Smooth fighting, wonderful parkour, and clever shuttle between floors. It's addicting. The whole story is also well-structured. Still a good movie.
In fact, it's hard to believe that the French could make such a wonderful film. It has always been thought that elegant French people will not love the shooting of violent films. But this film completely changed my impression of French cinema.
