I don't talk to you about society, I don't talk to you about heart-wrenching battles

The first time I knew about this movie was on "Watching Movies" that month. The heavy background and the cold tone all told me not to approach it.

After all, there is still a gimmick to get me closer.
The male protagonist that looks like Chris Martin? Or a bad taste for cruel plots?
Or is this cold tone that seduced me.
I've always been less pure.

After reading it, I dragged it to the bean column of "Floyd Wipe the Lens".
Childhood shadows Childhood shadows, how can we lack childhood shadows.
It's the dying pony in the stream; it's the jovial gym teacher in the locker room.
I think you became like this because of your childhood.

This cannot be denied, even if we are invulnerable Chinese teenagers.

1.5 hours of film, in my bottom line, is not too difficult.
There is burnout, there is nausea, there is physical pain.
Seeing the male protagonist's back, I subconsciously wrapped myself tightly.
That's enough, if there are hairs on the back, they must stand up.
This is good visual art.

Pure nonsense, nothing to do with the subject of the film.
I don't talk to you about society, I don't talk to
you about heart-wrenching battles.

Director skills are comparable to Kubrick's early days

Too technical each department will make the plot lose its sense of coherence, and the awesome director's awesome photography poses a problem for the editor. The impact of editing effects on the plot must be considered in advance! The cinematography is great, the sound is a bit overkill, and the acting is mediocre.

  • Father Dominic Moran: [offering Sands a cigarette] Bit of a break from smokin' the Bible, eh?

    Bobby Sands: [agrees]

Father Dominic Moran: Anyone work out which book is the best smoke?

Bobby Sands: We only smoke the Lamentations. A right miserable cigarette.

  • Bobby Sands: I have my belief, and in all its simplicity that is the most powerful thing.
