After reading it, what I admire most is Ali’s personality charm, living the life I want to live, and having my own judgment. He is unwilling to succumb to any authority or interest group. What he sees is the real freedom of people. When he opposed the Vietnam War, he said that even my rights to freedom and equality in the United States cannot be guaranteed. Why should I go thousands of miles away to hurt poor people? Ali thinks from the perspective of people, no matter which country, no matter what kind of race, no matter what kind of belief, people should be equal and should be respected.
As far as the film is concerned, some of the pictures are very artistic and thought-provoking, but the story’s cohesion is insufficient and the plot is somewhat procrastinated, which makes my understanding of Ali a bit fragmented, and I can’t feel him well during that period. Life experience and psychological changes.
