Start my road trip

My initial expectation for this Elizabethtown was that it would not be like the so-called romantic light comedies we often see but quickly forget. I didn't expect it to be so different.

Before this, my impression of Orlando Bloom was only creamy powder, such as the beautiful elf prince, such as the innocent young man drowned in the light of Captain Jack, and such as the lust for beauty and the destruction of the country but hiding The little prince behind his brother. In Elizabethtown, however, everything changed. What he has, is no longer just a handsome appearance, it has become more flesh and blood, and the image is more real and full. So much so that I secretly marveled, he's charming...

As for Kristen, or I prefer to call her Claire. She's so sweet. I bet nine out of ten people who have seen it will salivate at that map. Those cut-and-paste pictures, those cute notes she wrote, those songs she chose by meticulously timed calculation, and her quirky photos, how could you not love her. She smiled and said that when we were all substitutes, people were sad to see.

That part of the phone was so heartwarming. A career failure, the sudden death of a family member, a feeling of loneliness. At this moment, the caring stranger Claire shows up, bringing comfort and saving Drew from the chaos. I believe this time is not about love. So it feels more precious.

My favorite, however, was Drew's journey home with Mitch. I was overwhelmed when he belted Mitch's urn. Suddenly, I remembered my late grandfather. From time to time, or resentment that we missed just 5 days and we were separated by life and death. After this thought, it was the envy of Drew. He was driving alone on the journey home, but he was accompanied by his father to fulfill the vows that had passed away, and also carried Claire's caring care and deep love. No need to worry about career failure, the loss of 1 billion dollars, bosses, public opinion and other world affairs, just ride the wind and feel the taste of freedom. His babbling, his laughing, his crying, and finally, let him be relieved.

It's nice to see such a warm and unforgettable movie in the cold winter.

Love should be as quiet as a small town

Elizabethtown quotes

  • Claire Colburn: Welcome to the annual meeting of people who annually meet, and we'll see ya'll next year.

  • Claire Colburn: Sadness is easier because its surrender. I say make time to dance alone with one hand waving free.
