First of all, I have to admire Jessica Chastain, who plays Ms. Sloan. In this show, it is impossible to see that she is Murphy who grew up in interstellar.
In the play, Ms. Sloan feels so free and easy, she can do a lot of incomprehensible things in order to achieve her own goals, take illegal drugs for a long time, sacrifice friends, don't get married for work, don't make boyfriends, Free and easy enough to make people think she should be born as a man.
Such a woman with a masculine mindset has a lot more hardships than men in society.
