eternal heart lamp

The story is based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestselling book Ocean Crackers: An American Legend. The horse's story was adapted into a movie in 1949, starring Shirley Temple. The film adopts the shooting method of the intersection of the virtual and the real, so that the real historical footage is interspersed in the film, forming a synergy with the story itself, slowly awakening the dusty memory, and leading the audience to naturally integrate into that special situation. The emotion catalyzed by the story at every turning point is natural, making people naturally immersed in it and unable to extricate themselves. The performance is neither unassuming nor fashionable, with a warm nostalgic color.

Several protagonists of this film are little people struggling in the 30s. Charles Howard was originally a successful businessman, but the misfortune of losing his son in middle age shattered his family; Rhett Pollard's dream was to be a first-class jockey, but forced to make a living, he had to fight in an underground boxing match. People fight; Tom Smith is a horse and a horse trainer, but he is unappreciated and unhappy. The fate of three distressed men is turned around by an old racehorse named "Sea Biscuits". Hai Biscuits are short in stature and inflexible in legs, and are discarded as defective products. However, its unyielding nature and tenacious fighting spirit have not been wiped out. Three new owners have succeeded in awakening its potential and making it shine in the competition. Here are some of my thoughts:

The hopes of a nation rode on a long shot. This sentence is probably a good summary of this movie, the economic recession, people's livelihood is withering, how can people regain their confidence and regroup, it is simple to say, not an external charity, but a self-examination from the heart, saving lives The straw is in his own hands. But the morning bell and the twilight drum, there must always be something that awakens this power and tells us, Never give up! You'll always have your chance! Seabiscuit is the best annotation of the times, whether it is true or not! The important thing is that we regained the courage to face life and smile calmly, that's enough!

The plot unfolds slowly, revealing the helplessness and perseverance of life everywhere, ups and downs, but there is always a touch of warmth, and there is always a turning point, because they believe in each other, they become a whole because of the sea biscuits, not you alone understand it, how much strong force! Wide sea diving, sky high the birds to fly! Many times, we give up a lot. Parents give up family entanglement for the future of their son, but the son has not forgotten his dreams and commitments! Remember, there will be many injustices in life, and many times, you can only grasp the current self! Complaining and remorse can only make you sink deeper, so you can't move forward, and finally die here! Any life has the meaning of its existence, but you have not found the value of its existence, so don't discriminate, don't obliterate it, treat it equally, over time, it may be a different scene in front of you! The car drove into the stable and drove away, the horse was moved out of the stable and brought into the stable. Some things do not necessarily mean progress. The key to improving life is the improvement of spiritual realm. If we lose it, we won't come back, but we still have to face life, and there are still many things waiting for us to do!

So don't live in the regrets of the past and the sorrows of the future, pick your oil core higher and burn more intensely! In order to chase the dream, live the spirit!

George Woolf: Wanta know what I think?

Charles Howard: Of course.

George Woolf: I think it's better to break a man's leg than his heart.

Charles Howard: You could be crippled for the rest of your life.

Red Pollard: I was crippled for the rest of my life. I got better. He made me better. Hell, you made me better.

Tom Smith: One more thing.

George Woolf: What? Let him catch me on the backstretch? You know, you're not the only one who knows this horse.

[George has awoken Red after loosing a fight] (George has awoken Red after loosing a fight )

Red Pollard: I lost?

George Woolf: No, you clobbered him.

Red Pollard: I'm fine George. I don't need your help and I sure as shit don't need your charity. Leave me alone
