I've forgotten about the original book, so I don't have any baggage, and I still feel sorry for it as a new story. It's still Tim Burton's style, and there is a sense of eerieness from the tone of the picture to the casting of the actors. It's a pity that this movie feels like nothing is in place. Dumbo is more like a supporting role in the movie. It doesn't describe its story in depth, and the plot of building relationships with children and circus actors is very thin, and the emotional foundation is insufficient, so that the actors will leave later. It was hard to part with it before, and I couldn't help thinking in my heart: Do I need to be so exaggerated? And the baby elephant's ears are bizarrely big, and it can also be a selling point. This is quite inappropriate. But some people say that from the perspective of children, there is no reason to dislike someone, and even if they are different from others, they will be laughed at and excluded. It may not be suitable for people who have no childlike innocence like us. Although I didn't think the story was very good, the circus troupe finally said a sentence: Wild animals should not be kept in captivity, and this sentence is like taking children to see it. It would be great if we could follow this theme to tell the story in depth, but it would be a pity to sigh.
