When we marvel at the gorgeous scenes in the film, especially the peculiar visual effects of working and living at the same time, we must also sigh at the separation between the upper world and the lower world. In our society, which is not upside down, there are actually the same upper class and lower class. Aren't the people in these two societies being restrained and restrained by various invisible shackles? Can migrant workers marry white-collar workers? Can the working class have access to private clubs? How many of the love in reality are not easy to get along with each other, difficult to get along with, and irreversible? How many people who are not in love cannot approach each other? The screenwriter just sees through our world, pulls it apart, and flips it, so the flipped world is born.
The upside-down world in the film is indeed a highlight, and the plot of the male protagonist traveling back and forth between the two worlds is also quite fascinating. The technological factors that gave him this ability were not fully understood because of the subtitle translation factor, but after thinking about it on his own, he could justify it. The only bug I found was when the hero ran out of customs with an invalid ID and was chased by a policeman at gunpoint, he was hiding under a window in a room, and his tie was floating. This is a bit self-defeating. According to the previous plot, the clothes in the upside-down world should not be upside down due to the influence of gravity. Otherwise, when the heroine jumps on the hero's neck at the beginning of the story, the heroine's clothes should float up and disappear. Second, even if the clothes are affected by gravity, why is it just the tie that floats?
However, it is a rare, warm, romantic, love sci-fi film without monsters and wars. French romance and amazing sci-fi effects have achieved a good combination.
