The story itself is an old-fashioned spy movie, a game between the CIA and the KGB. At first glance, it is an American film, and it is not a problem to slander the KGB.
Throughout the film, through constant flashbacks, you come and go, trying to present the whole story in a more exciting way. Fortunately, Luc Besson's rhythm is properly grasped, so that the line will not be confused. And there are several big vistas, which are very beautiful.
But this film has several major flaws. One is the protagonist. The female protagonist walks the stage professionally, but the acting is really not good. Putting aside the lack of vivid facial expressions, as an agent, will the fighting move be a little too slow?
In addition, if there is a special character in a film, there must be a reason for him to exist, whether it is to promote the plot or to stimulate emotions. So, what is the girlfriend of the heroine in this movie for?
At the same time, I have to say that Aunt Helen Mirren's acting skills are top-notch, and her eyes can really talk. Fortunately, she is here, which has raised a lot of points.
Of course, the biggest flaw in this film is the rationality of the plot settings. What happened to the screenwriter? (Yes, it was made up by the uncle himself) Secret agents are fighting for their lives, even if the KGB brother falls in love with the girl he brought up, is the CIA brother stupid? And in the end, the three of them drank coffee at the same table and said goodbye to each other. From then on, they forgot the scenes of the rivers and lakes. I thought they were watching romance.
The most serious bug is that the little agent killed his boss and escaped all the way. That's all there is to it. This is the KGB headquarters. It's so easy to escape, it's like Disney. And she even dared to threaten the big boss. I'm afraid the aunt has carried more bullets than the girl has eaten. So, did Auntie delete just the video letter or the entire file? If the files were deleted, I would deeply doubt Luc Besson's brain circuits.
Finally, as a commercial cool film, it's worth watching.
