Start thinking about human nature and morality

No moving music, no moving or stunning scenes, not even color, but I watched it for over two hours.
Morality is human nature; immorality is human nature. The person who ties the white ribbon for the child has not yet understood the true meaning of the white ribbon. How can they ask the children to change something for a mere white ribbon?
When I first saw this movie, I thought that although it was well done, it left too much suspense. After reading it, I kept reminiscing and thinking, and I felt more and more that it was not a deliberate suspense, but that real life often does not reveal its essence easily. The profound meaning is not just a few words or a few actions. It is better not to express directly. What we can't see with the naked eye is what we need to think about, and even what the director is thinking about.

Haneke has always excavated the evil of human nature, but the film is so serious and dull that it is unimaginable, and it is not seen until the end. Watching this kind of film also sees a flower, either you really have a heart full of philosophy, or a heart full of beauty (fuck the Palme d’Or, balance and foster the humanity of a new generation of masters) Disaster and political correctness, who else?)

It was the first time I watched such a suspense-themed film to be shocked by the suppressed atmosphere that could erupt at any time. And Haneke actually stopped, but maybe it doesn't matter who the murderer is. The last shot is very "Piano Teacher". "How the Nazis were Born". A movie you must stop and watch.

The White Ribbon quotes

  • Martin: I gave God a chance to kill me. He didn't do it, so he's pleased with me.

  • The Doctor: My God, why don't you just die?
