Cleaning up the crime scene - at first, I really thought it would be the American version of "The Rag Girl", and I was also guessing which of the sisters is Peaches, Rose or Norah? Gradually I found that this is not a funny movie, but a warm and heart-warming family movie.
All the relationship lines of the characters are intertwined, seemingly complicated but clear, and each character is unforgettable to me. Seemingly cynical sister Norah, in fact, buried deep in her heart is a deep sense of loss, and the vague image of her mother in her memory can only be comforted by the private box left by her mother. Sister Rose, who has been hit everywhere in her life, is like a wounded little animal. The great mother's love supports her. The love without end hurts her but also brings her the second spring of her career. The weak need not be eaten by the strong, as long as you have love to rely on. Father joe dragged his old body to buy a birthday present for his grandson oscar, but unexpectedly taught himself a lesson - getting rich overnight is not for him. Fortunately, he woke up in time and sold his house to support his daughter's career. I think this is not an easy thing in the Western world.
In addition to this family, there are also characters such as police officer mac, cleaning supplies store operator winston, and Lynn. Their story lines are interspersed in the Lorkowski family, some who leave and some who join. Among these supporting roles, my favorite is "Broken Arm" winston. He is kind and shy, helping Rose silently, and finally established a relationship with Oscar. At Oscar's birthday party, when I saw him sitting with the Lorkowski family Together, I feel that life can really be so beautiful!
