Losing the ability to speak for the first time - Paris, je t'aime

"Paris, jet'aime"'s 18 stories with different styles, no matter which story is made into a movie alone, I believe it will be very good. I remember thinking about picking my favorite story before watching it, but only after reading it - it's really hard. Crying, laughing, serious, ambiguous, arguing, moved... After reading it, this is all I want to express, and there is no way to express my inner joy and excitement with a more specific description. In an instant, language loses its most wonderful function, and it becomes impoverished because of cinema. The BGM used in the fifth story turned out to be Faye Wong's sky. Among the 18 stories filled with a strong French atmosphere, Chinese seems to be a special case, full of mysterious inviolability. If I were in France, I would definitely shed tears... Someone Saying that I can only learn to say I love you when I arrive in Paris, the barber shop owner with Danfengyan whispered in his ear: "Annie, love you. Anne = love you..."

    Paris is full of romance

The best of platter movies, 18 love letters to Paris. Taking different areas of Paris as clues, covering different races, ages and identities, it presents stories of different styles and emotions. The Coen brothers' dark humour and double inversion are just amazing. The clip directed by Sylvia Jomai is quite like a magician. A lonely and persistent wandering artist, imitating the action of driving through the highway makes people laugh. When a weirdo meets a weirdo, the world becomes a stage for swimming. Vincenzo Natali's short films impressed me deeply: in the middle of the night, everything is black, except for the bright red and distorted blood, lead yellow and expressionism blend, zero lines and retro circles are juxtaposed. The Wes Craven version of Wilde that followed was also hilarious. The following Tikwei has a strong author's breath, and see also the high-speed editing and the inseparable loop narrative. The last paragraph from the perspective of a middle-aged foreign tourist who is self-taught French, the naive and enthusiastic French narration of the foreigner alone releases all the emotions: a momentary emotion that cannot be expressed as a language, a déjà vu, a kind of joy and sorrow Intercourse, a feeling of being alive and in love. (8.8/10)

Paris, je t'aime quotes

  • Zarka: You're even worse at this than getting girls.

Franois: My friends do that stuff, not me.

    Zarka: They're pathetic.

Franois: You have beautiful hair, why do you have to cover it up?

Zarka: I don't have to. I choose to.

Franois: Too bad, 'cause you're so pretty.

Zarka: You mean I'm not beautiful in my hijab?

Franois: [laughs] That's not what I meant.

Zarka: You and your friends don't know shit about women. Why talk to them like that? When you can see they don't like it? If I want to look beautiful, I do it for me. When I wear this I feel part of a faith, an identity. I feel good. That's what beauty is. Tell that to your friends. Then maybe one day, they might even get laid.

  • Carol: Sometimes I think it would be nice to have someone, with whom to share this life.
