Facing Teflon, the male protagonist was alone. Facing a powerful opponent, he had moments of hesitation and despair, but he did not choose to give up. Sometimes the law really can’t control that much, it’s not that it doesn’t matter, it’s the principle of ignoring it. No one stands up, or someone stops others from standing up, so some things are covered up, and justice is buried in ashes. Similar to the male protagonist of a novel I once read. "Only we protect ourselves", this situation is often true and most heart-wrenching. Abandoned everything for a stranger, but he was not a failure.
