"Black Water" I saw on a public account. It was said that there were no waves, but it was a good film. It was a film based on a true story. Real events last two decades, and the movie can quickly go through those two decades in two hours, a real and wonderful contrast.
For a movie with such a theme, it involves environmental pollution, lawsuits with big companies, lawyers' families, personal healthy life, etc., each person's final perspective is naturally different. The first thing I saw when I saw the hot comment was whether it was harmful to non-stick pans. Maybe some people saw familiar old-fashioned movie stars, and some people were interested in the operation of the legal system in the United States. This inference is because of myself. A layman is really at a loss... But for me, the core insight of watching the entire movie is that a person's conscience can exist in this turbid world, insisting, regardless of external objective or subjective pressure, is How easy. Even just a few sentences, a few words are not enough to cover the oppression seen in the film, I am convinced that the film is only a drop in the bucket in life. But a person still has to work so hard to make changes, for the conscience in his heart. Just like Rob came home late at night and fiddled with the kitchen, causing his wife's anger, he said: listen to me and finish all this, if you think I can stop and ignore it after listening, then I will do it. But who can be so cruel and inaction? Especially in the profession of lawyers, Rob has extraordinary feelings for this profession. I also believe that the responsibility on the shoulders of lawyers is also one of the driving forces that have supported him for the past 20 years.
Fortunately, we saw a pretty good ending at the end of the film, and saw that Rob's dedication to his conscience was somewhat rewarded. I have used Mr. Wang Yangming's core idea here, and I agree with it, but it is too difficult to move forward fearlessly in today's society. I have the highest respect for Rob, and I also deeply welcome such a movie. It's a good movie, although the overall tone and ambience is just like the title, dark.
