This film was shown to us by an English teacher in class. I personally think it is a very targeted film, with violence, racial discrimination, warmth and growth. I have to say that Teacher Erin is a good teacher. She has a kind of power in her, that is, she can do anything she wants to do. Since an orderly classroom can't change the children, she does the opposite, telling them about the Holocaust, about the Jews, taking them to see the concentration camps, showing them Anne's Diary, and taking them to travel. We admired everything she did for them, and finally even her father said that he both envied her and admired her, she was a really good teacher.
However, the consequence of focusing too much on one thing is that she will ignore other things. For the sake of the children, she first reduced her rest time. In order to take the children on a trip, she even took several part-time jobs, which inevitably reduced her time at home suddenly. Her husband, who supported her from the beginning, couldn't bear the fact that she put too much emphasis on education and neglected the family. In the end, he left, leaving her alone.
But these can't beat her, these are just some essential experiences on the road of life, she is still insisting, she puts all her enthusiasm on it, she must be able to deal with anything calmly now.
Another theme to be highlighted in the film is racial discrimination. From ancient times to the present, racial discrimination and gender discrimination are big problems left over from history. With the development of society today, gender discrimination has gradually faded, but racial discrimination has not been fundamentally resolved. There is such a phenomenon, which may not change anything, but it can definitely affect something.
Although in my opinion, black friends are born with the blood of this rap, listening to them speak super rhythm, they can sing and play football, and they are not different from us because of their skin color, and in a certain Some aspects stand out.
I don't know what the source of racism is, but I think people are always afraid of the unknown, which leads to overprotective behavior. But I also know that God created people of different colors, not so that we can judge who is high and who is low, but to make us love each other.
