Let’s start with the actors. The protagonist of the film is a queen-level figure who has won the Oscar for Best Actress twice. This kind of film is not a blockbuster production, nor does it have a huge budget, but people still take it and play it, which is very good. From the point of view of acting, the leading actor fully interprets the teacher's strength. But in fact, a teacher who is strong towards students will not be loved by students.
This teacher rarely succeeded in doing many seemingly impossible things. She invited Jewish asylum seekers during World War II to the scene to share their stories with them. The teacher gave so much silently and selflessly, and even took two part-time jobs after get off work to supplement the teacher's work. Her family also broke up, and her husband divorced her. Under such circumstances, her heart was shaken, and finally her father showed her support and admiration.
Being a teacher is a job with very unequal pay and rewards. This teacher is really giving a lot, but in fact, the students just want her to continue to take them in the third and fourth grades.
I admit that I can't live up to this teacher's level of dedication, which is why she is so admirable.
