Throughout the film, Zane only laughed twice, once during the final photo shoot. Another time was when it was a birthday for a black baby. Also refugees, Zane and his siblings were abused at home, with the boy as a tool and the girl as a bargaining chip. The black baby has a mother who loves him deeply, and at that moment, Zane feels the warmth of home for the first time, even though it does not belong to him.
If you don't want to raise your child, love your child, please don't have it. We need to pass exams to achieve our goals in life, but parenting does not require any assessment. We have the right to choose our own life, but children do not have the right to choose their parents. I sincerely hope that every child who comes to the world can be treated gently by this world, even though this wish seems so far away.
