I went to the cinema last weekend to watch "What is Home?", as I wrote in my short review, I cried for the whole scene, and the white-haired old man sitting on my left was delayed even after the movie ended. He didn't leave, and kept wiping his tears with a handkerchief.
The background of this story is very tragic, but the ending is not bad: a child who has no one to love and has to bear the heavy burden of life, finally broke through the original trajectory with the support of no chance of winning, rushed out of the cage, and regained a new life. .
I kept crying while watching this movie, there are three reasons, one is the infectious power of the story itself, and the other is that I saw the same feeling of powerlessness and trying to change my life when I was a child in the story. , and the other is that the music is very well matched. Many of them are the original sounds in life. For example, when the little black boy was on the side of the road, the car passed the horn and Zane ran over to hug him. It was very harsh, very worrying, and very real. .
I didn't know at first that this movie had an English translation on some websites. Later, my friend said that although I watched it in theaters, I wanted to watch it a second time, so I started to watch it again at home. all over. A little disappointed after watching it. To be honest, the two versions are similar in terms of screen cutting. The English version has more of the Roach Man part, but there are many small lyrical details in other parts, as well as the translation situation, many of which are different. Later, I saw it directly. Out of the picture, I have been comparing the translation problems of the two versions.
The theatrical version has a saying that stands out to me, and it's what Zane said at the end: My life is worse than my dirty shoes. At the time, I felt goosebumps all over my body, which was very shocking, but the version I read later did not say that. Of course, there must be this paragraph, but the translation is not like this (I don't remember exactly which, although I only read it last night). In comparison, I think the difference is quite big, and when I brush it at home for the second time, the sound effect is completely gone.
