After watching this film, I suddenly remembered a question I discussed with my friends before, "Everything you do now has to be verified. Why do you want to be a parent?" Parents who think about the consequences, and some don't even have the ability to lead by example, children fall prey. But there is one thing that cannot be denied. In the film, one of the parents does have a last resort. Therefore, the emotion we have after watching it is different from Zane's resentment, but more of a sympathy. The social problems in Lebanon are much more serious than those in our country. In this environment, it is difficult for people without certificates to protect themselves, let alone form a family. The plot set by this big background not only gives us a visual and psychological impact, but also causes us to think about "what is home". In the film, it's not hard to see that Zane actually behaves like his parents, which also shows us that this problem is continuous, generation after generation. Whether this problem will be completely solved, we can't know from the film, the only thing fortunate is that Zane's last smile gives us some comfort and expectation.
