There's always a touch of a poet in Woody Allen—The wine is good. The sky is rosy. The scene is retro. The pace is gentle. The atmosphere is brisk, yet with melancholy. But honestly, Kristen Stewart's Vonnie is just a Los Angeles version of Bella in Twilight (miss her when she wears long hair) and so I don't understand why Bobby fell for her at the first sight, with his uncle Phil adoring her simultaneously. She pales next to Blake Lively, who shines just like a vogue lady from 1930s.
What Vonnie is faced with — To choose partner between a dynamic and successful powerhouse, and a younger man who are passionately in love with her — might be everyone's dilemma. All you have to do is make the choice wisely and live everyday as if it's your last because clearly, we can't turn the clock back.
