I finally finished the first season of The Good Doctor today.
Shaun is autistic, but in his own case, he's doing well. In this season, while helping patients, he is also constantly learning a lot from patients. There are many scenes where he is alone with the patient. He asks the patient questions, gets answers, and gets inspiration from them. Although he was not favored by Dr. Neil Melendez at first, he proved himself with his ability step by step.
In the final episode of the show, there are two scenes of Shaun and Dr. Aaron Glassman together. The first time was on the merry-go-round, Glassman reminisced about himself and his daughter. Later, it was reproduced by Shaun on the stairs. That sentence "I love you more" really made people cry instantly.
In the season finale, Shaun can't find the toy scalpel that his brother Steve gave him, so he splits during surgery, causing an accident. At this time, they have formed a team (except the woman who came in last, I can't remember what it was called) to face this test together. Finally Dr. Melendez, said: At some point in your career, you are going to kill someone. And I hope for your sake there's a doctor out there.
This season ends with the scene where Shaun and Glassman enter Dr. Marcus Andrews' office, looking forward to the follow-up, did Shaun get fired, did Glassman give up the position of dean...
...
Without further ado, the second season begins.
