Whether we are the main actors in life or whether we are all group actors is actually not that important sometimes. What is important in the end, perhaps, walking in this world without stopping. Living, probably because we are still walking, is often not helpful because we are afraid of what tomorrow will look like, because "we are not ready for anything". The significance of this film is that it depicts all kinds of life, but it is still an open proposition. In the last scene, the skydiver is annoyed at how he landed in this place.
