I felt that the beginning and the end were very abrupt. When I came up, I started playing. When I hit the Japanese, I asked my friend, the show started? He said it seems so. Then finally the three characters of Huo Yuanjia appeared - this is the opening.
At the end, it was the Japanese again. In the second round, Huo Yuanjia suddenly vomited black blood. He said that he had too much luck, and the poison was too late to save him. He smiled and said, maybe. Sure enough, after meeting Yueci in a foggy episode, Jay Chou's ending theme sounded - this is the ending.
So I feel that this film is just kung fu. The real martial arts scenes of Jet Li are wonderful and enjoyable. Apart from that, there is nothing remarkable about it. It can even be described as rudimentary, either it is Yueci's psychological counselor-like preaching, or it is an old routine like a misunderstanding with Qin Ye that leads to a bloody murder, and finally let Huo Yuanjia die so easily, MGD!
After reading it, I think I can be a screenwriter myself.
