Extremely like Alice. Alone alone, endure to the end.

Suddenly, on a whim, I wanted to wait and watch CCTV 6's "good movie appointments" every Saturday night as usual.
Just happened to come across it put <> (Translation: Black Book).
After listening to the host's background introduction to the film, I resolutely decided to watch it a second time. (I remember watching the full version for the first time in February 2009)
Unfortunately, there are too many cuts and deletions in the whole film, and the Mandarin dubbing does not reflect the feeling of the original version. Troubled by the audience.
Efforts to search from memory for the first viewing images, trying to complete the jigsaw puzzle of the details that were ruthlessly cut out.
The outside world generally commented that this is a Hollywood-style war movie, and indeed, the plot is closely linked and fascinating.
But I really like the angle of the shot from director Paul Verhoeven. In war, the line between good and evil has long been blurred, and the complexity of human nature is revealed layer by layer.
The scene where Alice bitterly swallows a block of chocolate to save her life after being betrayed by Dr. Hans is very impressive to me.
Perhaps, in the days with Captain Munts, Alice had also touched the short-lived happiness and joy, though, fleeting.
In that special era background, such an extreme woman. Alone alone, endured until the end.
No matter how humble she used to be, as a woman, she showed wit, calmness and courage in the war, and it was impossible not to admire.
