The film shows the Midway Naval Battle, the turning point of World War II, in a pertinent and documentary manner. It does not deliberately exaggerate sensationalism, nor does it intend to dig out the profound aspects of the war. It truly reproduces the cruel war, and praises all the heroes and civilians who march forward bravely, regardless of success. Victory or defeat sacrifices, but also respects the unyielding opponent. The scene is grand and the special effects are wonderful. It is suitable for the whole family to watch.
The disadvantage is that a dive bomber pilot Best is the protagonist, with American-style personal heroism; interspersed with multiple clues, the narrative is a bit messy, if the historical subtitles are added when narrating each event, the general audience will understand the plot and history more clearly. The film pays tribute to all those who fought valiantly to defend the country and the people, leaving the famous and the anonymous, the sea remembers immortality, and cherishes the peace now
