Let’s start with the plot first. It’s really a very vulgar story. The innocent girl EB no longer believes in love because she was hurt, and she was forced out of the wild power by her love hurt. Men and power hurt themselves. She also raised a bunch of children who had a heart attack for herself, which she called "protect them" (with white eyes). And forbid any feelings to happen in her country. Then the hammer and the model worker used various methods to prove to the audience: You see that true love exists, hehehehe. I don’t think it’s impossible to play the slogan of true love, but don’t just spread it out on the table. Some lines in the film like "love will only make you stronger" are really too shameful. This kind of no-new routine needs to be expressed in a different way to appear advanced, isn't it?
The most interesting role in the White Hunting series is the Queen Ravenna played by Charlize Theron. In the previous part, she is an ambitious woman who regards beauty in everything, and firmly believes that a woman with the best beauty in the world is omnipotent. For her ambition, she never relented in killing Lu Guo. In this part, as some of her background stories are uncovered, the role becomes even more attractive. The former theme song Breathe of Life sang: I was looking for a glimmer of hope of survival, but the voice in my head said no. This theme song Castle sang: Go to the throne, it is futile to cry. In the previous game, she not only wanted power, but also a sense of living presence. Resurrected from the dead in this movie, she has a clearer and more radical goal, and she is more heartbroken and ruthless.
In the second half of the film, the queen who had been killed in the previous game re-emerges. It turns out that after the spell was lifted by Snow White’s blood, she abandoned her old body and hid in a magic mirror that symbolized her vanity appearance and evil heart (like a lie after being defeated by reality and trying to use a lie. People who assimilate the whole world), continue to use their power to deceive people, (in a moaning way) to instigate people to kill each other. After being summoned by my sister, we found that the queen was more gloomy, angry, and sad than the one in the previous movie. She firmly believes that love and family are unreliable, and women can only rely on themselves forever. (As a man, I think she actually makes sense.) Different people have different opinions on whether the concept is correct, but she did pay the cruelest price for her choice. Charlize Theron gave this role 100% completion, and dedicated a particularly wonderful performance (and beauty and big white legs) in the limited playing time, which directly improved the viewing experience! ! Although a villain, I don't hate this character at all. She seems to be the most realistic and heartbreaking existence in this fairy tale.
The performance of other actors is actually very exciting, and the performance of the actors is also the biggest highlight of this play. The ice queen played by Emily Blunt is so beautiful, and her performance has passed the test. The shortcoming is that the screenwriter puts most of the weaknesses of the script on her alone. The lines are also artificial, and the motivation and transformation of this role are not. So convincing. Jessica Chastain can also be considered a breakthrough in herself and played a female hit, but I prefer her handling of emotional scenes, which is natural and moving. There is no part of the two queens that can be seen purely by her performance. Brother Hammer and the other dwarves can't actually say that they are bad. They can only say that the funny part they are responsible for is really embarrassing, and they really can't laugh...and they don't leave much impression. In addition, the atmosphere of the lily in this film is really strong, and it is difficult to talk between people of the same sex. There are also conversations like "I love you" and "You are my weakness" between the two girls from time to time, is it really good! Director, you come out and shoot me a hundred similar scenes. Five stars give you not to be afraid of being proud!
The following will focus on the advantages. First of all, the service is really top-notch, with various details (such as Theron’s golden cloak, which is actually changed from a bunch of golden crows. It can help you get out of it at a critical time. Later, it disappeared after being hugged by EB). The second is that as a sequel movie, the plot is really well rounded, there are no obvious plot flaws, and the story is pretty good. I think this is relatively rare. The third is the special effects. Although there is not the first creative and eye-catching, the ice and snow part is a bit small, but it is worth the price. I like the series of special effects at the end of Theron the most. Do you have the Oscar statuette?
If there is a third part, I hope to tell the story of the queen and the magic mirror. Why does Ravenna no longer trust men and the world? Why is she obsessed with the fantasy shaped by the magic mirror? Is the magic mirror really evil or a reflection of the human heart? Why would she rather fit with the magic mirror than die? If you dig deeper, these things will really be more touching than love or not. Fairy tale movies should not only give people the fantasy about beautiful love and rich life, but also use fairy tales to explore the real human weakness in life. Real human nature is much more fun than the so-called true love first. It's like there are so many heroic hunters and so many amazing adventures in the movie. I still love to watch Bitch Queen. Because she is beautiful, because she is dangerous, and because she has the Weakness that each of us has. From her struggles, we saw who we were once and what we might become in the future. Sometimes, loss is more moving than gain, madness is more moving than calm, and telling stories with imperfect human nature should be what a black fairy tale should be.
