Kind Gold Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

This is the story of a wronged woman's revenge. Jin Zi was convicted at the age of nineteen and spent thirteen and a half years in prison, in which she began to plan her revenge. Pretending to be amiable, she wins the hearts of the prisoners and is promised their "help with revenge". After being released from prison, Jin Zi discarded the mask and single-mindedly pursued revenge, and the object of revenge was the teacher Bai who threatened her back then. Kaneko pursues an elegant revenge, "everything must be beautiful".

At that time, Teacher Bai threatened Jin Zi's daughter's life. After she was released from prison, Jin Zi knew that her daughter had been adopted by a foreign family, so she went to another place to ask to see her. The daughter and Jin Zi returned to South Korea. Jin Zi, with the help of other criminals, had arrested Teacher Bai. Jin asked her daughter to witness her revenge, indicating that she had no choice but to abandon her back then. Jin Zi found a batch of videotapes in Teacher Bai's office, all of which were videos of Teacher Bai abusing and killing children in extremely brutal ways. She contacted the inspector who arrested Jin Zi and the parents of the children who were killed in the video, and finally decided not to hand it over to the police and "rectify the law on the spot."

The parents each used sharp weapons to "torture" Teacher Bai (which cannot be killed) to vent their hatred. After being avenged by more than a dozen parents, Teacher Bai was thrown into the pit dug by the parents, and finally gold was used to make up the last shot. Parents go to Jinzi's bakery to "reminisce" the thrill of revenge, while Jinzi sees the vision of the murdered child Hongmu. He still doesn't seem to accept Jinzi's apology. Jinzi then asked her daughter to be "whiter than snow" and not to suffer any sins, because revenge does not absolve them of sins committed.

Compared with the original criminal, the kindly gold is a physical revenge, and it is short-lived. Jin Zi and his parents just carried out "physical torture" against Teacher Bai, but the "mental torture" he suffered was profound and irreparable. Using a sharp weapon only caused Teacher Bai's physical pain (and after a few parents started, Teacher Bai was already numb from the pain), can it really relieve the pain of losing a child? That's just the most they can do. After being injured, even if the culprit is treated with cruelty, the wound will not disappear, and Hongmu is a reflection of it. Jin Zi can only be called an accomplice (he just took Hong Mu to take a bath during the kidnapping), but Hong Mu always felt that his death was related to Jin Zi who assisted in the kidnapping, even though Jin Zi was blamed by his conscience for many years / Teacher Bai used cruel methods Tortured to death, the fact that Hongmu was killed has not changed. These Jin Zi knew in her heart, because Hong Mu's appearance was exactly what she imagined. Hong Mu in the illusion did not accept Jin Zi's apology. In fact, Jin Zi thought that she was still guilty.

He was unable to atone for his sins, so Jin called his daughter "whiter than snow". After committing a crime, the fact of the crime cannot be changed in any way, and the result of revenge may be to make oneself more guilty? The characters of "Original Criminal" are born for revenge, and "Kind Gold"'s thinking about "sin" is on a different level.

Lady Vengeance quotes

  • Geum-ja Lee: Listen carefully. Everyone make mistakes. But if you committed a sin, you have to make an atonement for that sin. Atonement, do you know what that means? Big Atonement for big sins. Small Atonement for small sins.

  • Mr. Baek: Ma'am, there is no such thing as a "perfect person"...
