"Portrait of a Burning Woman" is a typical female director's unique perspective, gentle and sensitive. "Portrait of a Burning Woman" should be inspired by Dalí's "Burning Giraffe". The director imitated Bergman's poetic style in this film is too heavy, but the drama is far less than Bergman's, making this film a well-established work.
"Portrait of a Lady on Fire" is very soft/subtle. The picture is beautiful. But in general, the film is too light/eclectic and lacks drama. The empty story is far from the depth of restrained thinking, and the film is too thin. Putting "Portrait of a Woman on Fire" with Bergman's "Shouting and Whispering," the importance of drama in film is immediately apparent.
