The one who has been maxed out in the circle of friends these days is an incident in which a young woman was assaulted by a strange man in a hotel in Beijing and dragged and choked. At the same time, the personal life safety of female friends alone has become an instant hot search!

Apart from the horrible and suspenseful Lan Keer incident of the past two years, this incident also reminds people of the suspenseful murder case of black dahlia that sensationalized the world in the 1940s, which is still a mystery.

The victim of this case is also a young woman—the 22-year-old actress Elizabeth Schott (nickname: Black Dahlia). However, what kind of poison did she encounter that shocked the Chinese people? Let us review this horror and bloody one by one, which can be called the most shocking and bizarre murder case in California after World War II.

In the early morning of January 14, 1947, Elizabeth Schott was found dead on Road 3800 on South Norton Avenue in Los Angeles. When the corpse was discovered, the blood on the corpse had been completely washed to the extent that there was no blood stains and was pale and there was no blood around the corpse to be found, so it was mistaken for a humanoid model. It can be seen that this lawn is not the first scene of the murder case, and the corpse was moved here.

What is shocking is that the deceased had been subjected to merciless and cruel abuse during his lifetime. Her chest was severely damaged, her entire lips were cut to her ears, and a terrifying clown smile formed on her face. Her body was perfectly divided into two halves, the spine was divided between the second and third lumbar vertebrae, and the internal organs were completely taken out. This undoubtedly makes people have the creeps.

However, what is even more bizarre is that 9 days after the discovery of his body, the Observer received an anonymous letter, and the content of the letter was cut from the film newspaper. "This is Dahlia Property, there will be letters in the mail."

In addition to this anonymous scrapbooking letter, it also included Schott's birth certificate, social security number, snapshot, and an old address book.

The police tried to find some clues about the suspect from the papers sent. However, the criminal was very clever to use gasoline to remove all fingerprints from the paper, leaving no trace.

Subsequently, the criminals successively sent more letters to the police and journalists in accordance with the promises in the previous letters. Among them, the criminal blatantly provoked the police and wrote a few words in handwriting for the first time on a letterhead: "Wednesday, January 29 at 10 am is a turning point, (I) want to find happiness in the police. "And signed as "Black Dahlia Avenger."

The

police are not fuel-efficient lamps, and they are tracking them all the way:

Before Schott came to Los Angeles, she used to be with a man named Robert Manley in San Diego. And Manley once brought Schott to the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Obviously, this hotel is the last place that Schott visited during his lifetime. After this incident, the hotel was "haunted"-many travelers said that they had seen the soul of black dahlias in the lobby of the hotel.

According to other eyewitnesses, it was after Manley sent her to the hotel. Schott went to the Crown Barbecue, but this bar has now been renamed Yinhe.

So, who is the suspect in this case? Why is it that 70 years have passed, and this case is still a mystery and cannot be solved? Of course, Robert Manley who brought Schott to the hotel must be the first suspect in this case. However, he had sufficient alibi-before Schott's death, he had returned to San Diego and passed a polygraph test to prove that he did not lie. What's more important to mention is that Manley still needs to go to a mental hospital for treatment, because his wife said that he is now experiencing auditory hallucinations.

The other suspect is Joseph Dumais, who claimed to have drunk with him before he died. This guy once claimed that he was the murderer of Schott, but in fact, he was in the military base on the day of Schott's death, so he could not commit a crime at all, and he was also suspected.

And the third suspect is George Hordu, which is perhaps the most interesting part of the whole case.

And George's son, Steve Hordu, was only 5 years old when the Black Dahlia incident occurred. As an adult, he became an agent of the Los Angeles Police Department and began investigating the Dahlia incident. As the investigation progressed, he discovered that his father was the murderer of the black dahlia.

There is a secret room in George's house, this room he does not allow children to enter.

When looking back at the whole thing, Steve gave his father a very strong proof. George Heddu once studied surgery in medical school. Although the evidence of such association is weak, records show that George Hodder has accumulated more than 700 hours of surgery, so hemisection surgery should not be difficult for him. This also proves that he has the ability to dissect corpses with split limbs, which is also an important point in the whole case.

Even if George is a very busy doctor, his personal time is a veritable playboy-because the 11 children from his seed have 5 different mothers. He opened a clinic specializing in STDs for Hollywood celebrities. Because of his professional ability, he can always get to know some Hollywood stars. His decadent parties are also notorious. He met Elizabeth Schott at one of the parties, and they also fell in love later.

And Steve also found a photo of Schott, and believed that this photo was hidden by his father. But when these photos were first tested, an expert said that the two photos were 85% coincident and therefore believed that the photos were not Schott. However, when the photo was re-examined after 2014, the experts changed their words and said that the photo was a photo of Schott himself because it was 90% to 95% consistent.

And Steve also pointed out that his father's handwriting is similar to that of black dahlia. However, in the eyes of experts, these two types of handwriting cannot give a conclusive result.

Even if it is not certain that George was the murderer of Schott, it is certain that George is not a good man. Because he had no conscience enough to sexually assault his daughter, he was charged.

What's

interesting is that the police once suspected that George was the murderer of Schott, so they installed a wiretap device in his home. During the eavesdropping process, the police heard this passage:

Assuming that I really killed the black dahlia, it is impossible for them to prove that I killed it now. Because they can no longer talk to my secretary because she is dead.

And it was recorded that he had a relationship with the prosecutor's office. In other words, George bribed the police, even if the matter has not been confirmed.

"This is the best deal I have ever seen with law enforcement agencies! And I hope to be able to deal with the prosecutor's office."

This can also prove why the case was suddenly stopped and all relevant evidence suddenly disappeared. Without a trace.

In 2012, Steve Hordu and a police dog returned to his childhood room. There, the police dog smelled the scent left by humans. Moreover, the soil samples have also proved to be an effective support for the matter of human legacy.

Even though these soil samples do not prove that George was the murderer of the black dahlia (because she did not bury it), it can also prove that he and the murderer of the dahlia are not strangers.

Stephen Hordu wanted to continue digging for more information in his previous house, but now the owner of the house has rejected his request.

And it seems that this case will never be officially resolved. . . .

Even the District Attorney in Los Angeles only had a personal statement in support of Steve's accusation against his father.

Under the results of Steve's investigation, I will unreservedly apply for two murder charges against George Hordu. --Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, Stephen Kaye. (2003)

Nowadays, even if no one knows who killed Elizabeth Schott or there are many questions, it is still a mystery. But now the case is still closed.

We cannot change the past. This case may always be a mystery. However, single women still need to wake up 13 points when they are alone, and protect their personal safety at all times!
